Thank you for visiting our website and supporting our small business. Amber’s Custom Creations and Skagit River Woodworks have officially combined to create Last Frontier Creations — bringing together the same quality handcrafted products and excellent customer service you know and love.

All of our items are handmade at the time of order with care and attention to detail. Because each piece is custom created, no two items will ever be exactly alike, and colors or finishes may vary slightly.

Our current turnaround time is approximately 2–3 weeks for most orders. Some custom or specialty items may require additional time, and we will always notify you if your order is expected to exceed the estimated turnaround time.

About Us

Last Frontier Creations started from the combining of 2 former businesses. Amber's custom creations owned by me Amber and Skagit River woodworks owned by my Husband Steve. We have both always enjoyed our hobbies of woodworking or epoxy creations. But those businesses were in the past and didn't really reflect the idea of Alaska. 

We moved here about 8 years ago for work, and we have both fallen in love with this great state. We decided last year to combine our businesses into one that truly reflected our love for craftsmanship and this beautiful state. Thats how Last Frontier Creations was created. 

We love providing one of a kind, handmade, custom creations to our customers. We are currently on Facebook and Etsy. We will be doing craft shows around the state of Alaska to offer many opportunities to display our work.  

Difference between Epoxy tumblers and Sublimation tumblers

Last Frontier Creations, does epoxy tumblers. This means I design and create each tumbler. So no two will be identical. They are all custom. Some of the tumblers are as simple as printing a design and wrapping the tumbler with it, then epoxying it. Others take longer and need multiple layers or glitter, epoxy, sanding and detail. But all are covered with epoxy for a long lasting durable tumbler. The handcrafting can take a few days and then epoxy to cure is another few days. which is why my turn around time is 2-3 weeks. You are getting a handcrafted one of a kind cup.

Sublimation tumblers which are beautiful in their own way are an image baked onto a special type of tumbler that has a coating on it to adhere the image to the cup. No epoxying is required. These tumblers can be replicated and hundreds turned out in a short time frame and they all look identical.
